Cutting Machine
The Cutting Machine is designed to reduce large, hard lumps of sintered or heat‑cured material (such as PTFE scrap) into small, manageable chips. It is an essential pretreatment step before washing and dry milling. By creating consistent particle size, the cutting machine improves the efficiency of downstream processes and ensures a higher quality final powder.

Working Principle
The Cutting Machine uses a rotating knife rotor and fixed blades. Material is fed into the cutting chamber, where the rotor spins at moderate speed. The interaction between the rotating and fixed blades shears the material into small, uniform chips. An integrated screen controls the maximum chip size; particles smaller than the screen opening exit the chamber, while oversize pieces are cut again. This ensures consistent output size without over‑grinding.

Operation Requirements
- Feed material should be free of metal or other hard contaminants that could damage the blades.
- Do not exceed the recommended feed size for your machine model.
- Maintain uniform feeding; avoid overloading the cutting chamber.
- Adjust cutting settings to produce small, manageable chips suitable for downstream equipment (washing machine and dry mill).
- Regularly inspect and sharpen/replace blades to maintain cutting efficiency.
- After cutting, transfer chips to the washing machine without long delays to avoid re‑contamination.

If your process also includes non‑hardened waste, that material can bypass the cutting machine and go directly to the pulverizer.
